Therapies
Release tension, restore balance and reconnect with yourself. Here’s what I offer. Most sessions combine a few of these, depending on what you need on the day.
Physiotherapy
Rehabilitation, functional movement and pain management
I qualified in physiotherapy in 2006. Sessions focus on rehabilitation after injury, restoring comfortable, functional movement and helping you manage pain.
We look at how you move as a whole, not only at the place that hurts, and I’ll give you simple things to keep working on between sessions.
Sports & Remedial Massage
Deep tissue work, recovery and performance support
Firmer, focused massage for tight or overworked muscles, which I trained in here in London. It suits anyone who trains regularly, works long hours in one position, or is recovering from strain.
Deep tissue work can be part of any session. It can also be booked on its own to support recovery and performance.
Soft Tissue Release (STR)
Targeted stretching and release techniques
A precise technique that combines pressure with targeted stretching to release specific areas of muscle and fascia. It is especially useful for stubborn spots that general massage doesn’t quite reach.
I also teach STR to therapists and practitioners. See the STR course.
Craniosacral Therapy
Gentle work with the nervous system and cranial rhythms
There is a different kind of relaxation that happens when you finally stop trying to hold everything together.
I work with both Biomechanical and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, incorporating gentle fascial unwinding techniques.
The treatment uses subtle, carefully applied touch and attentive listening to the body. Rather than forcing change, we create the conditions for the body to soften, release and find greater balance.
It can be a deeply quiet experience — a space where your breathing slows, your body feels supported and your mind has permission to become still.
Sometimes the body knows how to let go when we finally give it the space to do so.
Inner Energy Healing
Energetic balancing, emotional release and body memory work
A gentle approach, similar to Chirokinesiology, that works with the body’s energy and the emotions it can hold on to. Using light touch and muscle testing, we look for where you are holding imbalance and work to release it.
It draws on my training in Emotional Codes Therapy and is often helpful when tension or tiredness seems to have no obvious physical cause.
Applying Myoskeletal Techniques
Fascia and muscle reprogramming, postural correction
Your body can learn to live with tension — until one day you realise that feeling tight has become your normal.
Applying Myoskeletal Techniques uses gentle, precise approaches to work with muscles, fascia and patterns of tension and movement. The techniques have similarities to Bowen Therapy, while my approach is adapted to your individual body and needs.
Rather than simply chasing the place that hurts, we consider the body as an interconnected system.
Because sometimes the place you feel the tension is not where the story began.
Hypnotherapy
Reprogramming subconscious beliefs and destructive patterns
A calm, conversational style of hypnotherapy that works with the subconscious mind to change beliefs and habits that keep holding you back.
You stay aware and in control throughout. Together we focus on the change you want to make, whether that is a pattern of thinking, a habit or a way of reacting.
Lymphatic Drainage
Gentle drainage to reduce swelling and support recovery
A light, rhythmic massage that encourages the lymphatic system to move fluid and can help to reduce swelling and puffiness.
It is very relaxing, and is often used alongside recovery from injury or simply when the body feels heavy and sluggish.
